Features:

Featuring 4/3/2 channel flexibility, the LC-4.800 allows for complete customization and tuning of your sound, giving you full control over every note and beat. With a power output of up to 125 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms and 200 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms, this amplifier delivers unmatched power and precision, making every song sound like a concert experience.

Features

  • Power Output: The LC-4.800 has the following output:

    • 125 watts RMS x 4 at 4Ω
    • 200 watts RMS x 4 at 2Ω
    • 400 watts RMS x 2 at 4Ω bridged
  • Maximum Input Level Control (MILC): The amplifier analyzes the input signal to detect any clipping. If the signal reaches the level of clipping, the MILC Source Clip LED glows red, prompting you to turn down the gain level. When the gain level is maximized, a green LED will glow to indicate the gain is set to the optimum level.

  • AccuBASS: The patented AccuBASS processing circuit compensates for factory bass rolloff to improve bass performance, especially with most factory installed sound systems. The circuit has two rotary controls: the Threshold lets you dial in the level at which the AccuBASS will begin to work, while the Level control raise or lower the level of AccuBASS compensation.

  • ACR-1 Remote: The optional AudioControl ACR-1 wired remote, when enabled, lets you adjust the level of the main outputs, and the line outputs, from the driver's seat. A switch, located on the top of the amp under the removable cover, lets you enable or disable AccuBASS and the ACR-1. If disabled, the ACR-1 only controls the level of the line outputs. The ACR-1 comes with a 20' cable.

  • Controls: The LC-4.800's controls are located under a removable protective panel. The included 2.5mm Allen wrench is needed for removing the panel during setup. A flat-head screwdriver (not included) is needed to adjust the rotary controls. The amp's controls are as follows:

    • GTO Signal Sense: If you are connecting the amplifier to a factory stereo, or an aftermarket unit without preamp outputs and a remote turn-on lead, you can set the GTO Signal Sense to "On" and the amplifier will turn on when an audio signal is detected on the line-level or speaker-level inputs. After a period of time with no signal input, the amp will turn itself off.
    • Channels 1+2:
      • Front High Input: This rotary control adjusts the level of the Front High speaker-level input.
      • AccuBASS & ACR-1: 2-way switch to enable or disable the AccuBASS circuit and the ACR-1 remote level control (if connected).
      • HP Crossover Frequency: Rotary control to set the cutoff frequency of the High Pass Crossover for Channels 1+2. The control is variable from 30 Hz to 300 Hz.
        • Note: The crossover for channels 1+2 is high pass only; it cannot be bypassed and there is no full range setting.
      • Mode: If bridging channels 1+2, you can set the output to mono. If not bridging, it can be run in stereo.
      • Gain: This rotary gain control adjusts the overall output of the front channels.
    • Channels 3+4:
      • AccuBASS & ACR-1: 2-way switch to enable or disable the AccuBASS circuit and the ACR-1 remote level control (if connected).
      • Crossover Type: The rear channel crossover can be set to low pass (LP) or high pass (HP) with this 2-way switch.
        • Note: The crossover for channels 3+4 is high pass or low pass only; it cannot be bypassed and there is no full range setting.
      • Crossover Frequency: Rotary control to set the cutoff frequency of the crossover for Channels 3+4. The control is variable from 30 Hz to 300 Hz.
      • Mode: If bridging channels 3+4, you can set the output to mono. If not bridging, it can be run in stereo.
      • Gain: This rotary gain control adjusts the overall output of the rear channels.

  • Connections: The LC-4.800's connections are aligned along the front of the amplifier for ease of installation. The amp's connections include:

    • Fuses: Two 40A ATO blade-type fuses are installed in the amplifier.
    • Power: Set-screw terminals are provided for connecting +12V Power, Ground, and Remote In. The set screws can be tightened/loosened with a Phillips-head screwdriver (not included). The Power and Ground terminals will accept up to 3-gauge wire, while the Remote In terminal accepts up to 6-gauge. An 80A fuse should be placed in-line on the power wire, no more than 18" from the battery.
    • Line Level Inputs: Two pairs of RCA jacks are provided for connecting the amp to the source unit via RCA cables.
    • Line Level Output: One pair of RCA jacks for feeding the signal to another amplifier.
    • Speaker Level Input: Three sets of removable Phoenix (or Euroblock) connectors are provided for connecting the source unit via speaker-level input. The speaker wires are inserted into the connector and tightened with a screwdriver (5/64" Precision Phillips-head, not supplied). The connectors are labeled Front High (for tweeters), Front, and Rear.
    • ACR-1 Remote Level Control: This RJ-14 telephone-type connection allows you to plug in the optional ACR-1 Remote. The ACR-1 controls the output level of the amplifier and line outputs.
    • Speaker Output: Removable Phoenix connectors are provided for connecting speaker wire up to 12 gauge. The amplifier will accept a load impedance of 2Ω or higher in stereo (4Ω or higher when bridged). The speaker wires are inserted into the connector and tightened with a screwdriver (9/64" Precision Phillips-head, not supplied).
